Situation of sex workers are worsening day by day. Sex workers are facing problem in everyday life. They are living in very bad conditions, they are living in smallrooms. They are living in very bad sanitisation conditions, infact there is no proper hygiene conditions. Countries which have recognised their sex workers, would give proper arrangements for them. So the problem is about those countries which have not recognised their sex workers like in countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and even United States of America have not admit that there are sex workers operating in their country whereas countries like - the Netherlands and United Kingdom and several other European countries which has accepted their sex workers are continuously helping them.
Medicine problem - sex workers are also facing medicine problems. They are not getting time to time medicine in this times.
Social stigma - There Is also one point that there is a stigma in our society. Our society does not accept sex workers as normal citizens. They treat them like they are not human beings but other citizens.
Economic problem - getting loans for these sex workers is next to impossible because they have not a proper source of income their income varies from time to time.
According to a sex worker rashmi (name changed) she has came to Mumbai to make career in bollywood but when she has no money left, she decided to make her living by doing sex works and now at the time of lockdown she has no other way but suicide.
The other major challenge is safety of sex workers. It is being seen that sometimes customer argue not to use protection, in that case there safety is being compromised in these situations.
So our governments should think about sex workers and their condition and in these tough times government should help them.
