Today we are going to discuss some conservative thinking which are being found in our society till date and there seems no end to this thinking in near future if we all don't speak up against these evils.
Let me tell you that why I am against such conservative practices afterall people tend to say that these practices provide quietness to our mind so who are you to question these practices so let me tell you that every social reformer has faced questions like these in past also so this is not a proper reason to not speak about evil practices. Because in India when raja ram Mohan rai started a movement to abolish the evil tradition of sati in India in which wife was being burnt alive along with husband on his death, society also opposed that, just suppose if he stopped his work, today imagine the situation just imagine how cruel our society Will become. So speaking against evil traditions of society does not mean you are hurting anyone's sentiment but you are trying to abolish wrong deeds from our society.
So coming to the topic let me tell you that this was an ancient practice to keep an eye on women's freedom because when women will buy something they will ask money from male member of the family. This was also a way to curb women freedom and showing a rite of male member of family on female one.
As the time has passed gradually women also supported this tradition because why because they are already dependent on male member of the family,in present world we are witnessing some voices against this practice.
Let me tell you a serious concern about why women tend to follow these evils blindly and you have also witnessed that the women of the society tend to follow these traditions more than a man because if we observe closely,we will see that this is our society who impose things in a way that people will say that they are doing things willingly but think a minute that this is not their freedom to take decisions for themselves not for others and when everybody takes its own decisions,our world will become a good place because who will say that human beings have no emotions,no humanity,no love between each other. Humans have every quality but there is need of a thought revolution throughout the world.
I basically want to say that patriarchal society is harmful for our generations.
